History
Audi AG, better known as Audi is a German car manufacturer that designs, engineers, manufacturers and distributes automobiles over the whole world, from its headquarters in Ingolstadt, Germany. Audi is 99.55% owned by Volkswagen Group.
Audi is founed in 1909 by August Horch. "Horch" means "listen" and in Latin it becomes "Audi". Each of the four rings of the audi logo represents one of the four companies that banded together to create the Audi company. Audi's slogan is "Vorsprung durch Technik", meaning "Advancement through Technology". Audi makes part of the "German Big 3" luxury car manufacturers along, BMW and Mercedes-Benz .
