History
Volvo Car Corporation or Volvo Personvagnar AB, better known as Volvo is a Swedish premium car manufacturer.
Volvo was founded in 1927 in Gothenburg, Sweden by SKF, Assar Gabrielsson and Gustaf Larson. Volvo was owned by the multinational AB Volvo until 1999. Now its owned by the Chinese Zheijang Geely Holding Group after acquired it in 2010 from Ford Motor Company .
